Two dancing figures have happily stripped off their clothes on a quiet side street near Gare du Nord. This exuberant piece of art is probably inspired by Tous à Poil! a best-selling children’s book featuring illustrations of everyone from teachers to CEOs getting naked and jumping in the ocean together.
Parents of four children, the authors set out to show kids how bodies look in reality, to balance the tyrannical monotony of sleek bodies in advertising. Their approach set off a public rebuke from the conservative UMP party, which in turn sparked robust sales. And an excellent spot of street art.
Check out the tattoos on those nice legs.
Location: On a side street off of Rue Chabrol in the 10th.
